Washington's waters serve as a migration area for four different types of whales including Gray, Minke, Humpback and Orcas. Most popular April through September, whale watching is unparalleled in the breathtaking scenery of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula and Cascade Mountain Range. The city of Seattle, is a perfect place to embark on a whale watching cruise into the ever popular San Juan Islands. Below we've created a list of company's that offer whale watching opportunities. In most cases it is a good idea to call ahead and make reservations in advance of the date you might want to join a whale watching cruise. Have fun and be safe.
