Fremont Shopping Guide
In a neighborhood that calls itself the “center of the universe” you don’t have to go far to get what you want. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to keep you fueled and busy all day.
If you happen to wander upon the Fremont streets on a Sunday between 10:00am and 5:00pm you’ll find the pleasant surprise of the European style Fremont Sunday Market. The Market is the place to be if you have somebody on your list that’s a bit eclectic. From a whole underground garage full of vintage shirts, jeans and coats to locally made handbags, jewelry, hand-blown glass, sterling silver jewelry, scarves and too many artists’ exhibits to list, the market is not to be missed. Check out the stone-oven pizza too.
The Markets winter season is November-April, open on Dec 24th Christmas Eve, but will be closed the 31st New Years Eve.
