Saturday, Sept. 12, until the morning of Saturday, Sept. 19 - The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard will close for construction around-the-clock beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 until 8 a.m. on Sept. 19. All traffic from I-5 that enters eastbound SR 520 during this time will cross Lake Washington with this ramp closed and pay the bridge toll. Those who do not want to pay the toll or who need to access Montlake from I-5 must use alternate routes.
The express lanes are northbound-only 24 hours a day through the end of 2026 due to lane reductions for construction on the northbound I-5 Ship Canal Bridge. In addition, the express lanes will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, for drainage work on the Ship Canal Bridge.
The Harvard Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-5 is closed until mid-October for the Revive I-5 Ship Canal Bridge construction project.
